Over the past couple of weeks, people have been throwing eggs at our driveway.
There was one when I came back from my Japanese exam today, and my brother’s 2 closest friends had come over. I heard them saying something about eggs and assumed that they, along with my brother, had noticed it. Later my brother comes upstairs asking me about it. I told him I thought he already knew because of what I’d heard his friends saying, and they protested that they had been taking about someone letting off gas. That was believable, as that was what the conversation seemed to move onto when I had been walking up the stairs and there indeed was a bad smell.
My brother, along with his friends, decided to set up a camera in the study window. They hid it using a newspaper with a hole in it and pointed it at the driveway entrance.
This evening we went out for dinner as it was my Mum’s birthday. When we returned there was egg. A lot of it. Everywhere. And an orange too but that’s neither here nor there. We just spent quite a while looking at the footage and found the time the eggs were thrown. It happened within minutes of our car leaving the driveway. They came from the left side, meaning that whoever threw it came from that direction and without a car since our road ends in a cul-de-sac that way.
We think it probably was my brother’s friends- they were the only ones who knew we were going out. My brother also rang one of them (in response to a missed call) and he didn’t mention it. This is strange as he has been asking about it a lot, and if you’d helped someone set up a camera like that you’d be eager to hear any updates. They could’ve easily drove around when they left, then parked on the adjoining road beyond the cul-de-sac barrier and walked.
We should find out the culprit soon though. My Mum called the police and I think they said they’d visit the friend’s houses. I’m not gonna lie, I had fun with this, though everyone else in my family is pissed as they feel betrayed or victimized or have to clean it up.

These are my spoils from my day at the London Expo. As you can see, I’ve completely failed at showing varied interests yet again. Ah well, in the end I only spent £21. I think I did pretty well in that regard.
If there was one thing that boxing project was good for, it was learning how to draw arm muscles. Now I can finally do this BAMF justice!
That awesome moment when you’re watching some random YouTube show, and then something from your favourite TV Anime suddenly shows up in it.
It’s like, I decide to watch something different for a change because, you know, I have no life and would happily watch Ghost in the Shell videos all day but I want to keep at least a little variety so I don’t. I stumble upon Sanity Not Included (a Machinima show that parodies video games) and remember watching it a while back, so I skip to the last episode wondering wether I’d seen it before. There’s a mixture of games, but most of them are well known. But then suddenly they use a clip from the Ghost in the Shell PSP game. A clip of my favourite character. I swear I had my hands on my head so fast I was worried I’d damaged my headphones for a second. It also kinda hurt but MY GOD co-incidences like these always make my day!
Happened with GITS before too, back when I was only just starting to get really into it. decided I’d take a break and watch something else so I went to watch Yogscast’s ‘Shadow of Israphel’. The title of the latest episode? ‘Ghost in The Shell’. Fantastic taste guys.
I can’t escape. It’s amazing.
Oooh, the Major. I love Ghost in the Shell’s complex philosophical musings on technology and transhumanism and consciousness as much as the next person, but what I really love about this movie is that it’s about a brilliant, tough, impatient, broody, brawny woman who, while surrounded by…
